My Treasure Chest is back in Colorado

We returned to Colorado from our ten week stint in New Zealand/Cook Islands and hit the ground running. Jet lag is a curse without kiddos, but add coughs, and sleep deprivation to the pot and you have a recipe for exhaustion with a hint of crazy. Kids bounce back quick, I wish I could say the same for me.  Ha! I miss the days when I felt energetic and ready to take on the world. Now, it is more of a take on the minute by minute approach. With that said much has happened since our return: Easter, x2 40th birthday celebrations, Mother’s Day show in our studio, Mothers Day and of course Asher turned 6 months on May 3rd. What?!?!?!

I have had a few favorite moments lately. There is at least one daily giggle fest with my boys, ahhhh! Love those! last night when I was lying in bed next to Odin at 9:45pm (I know). He is wide awake because he has stopped napping but fell asleep in the car at 5pm (I know.) Anyway, he lays his head on my still pregnant LOOKING belly (yes, 6 months later) and says “I love your baby.” I couldn’t stop laughing and so on went the giggles WAY past both of our bed times.

Below are photos of Odin and Asher at Noah’s house for Easter! It was quite the event. Also featured are Asher’s 6month studio shots. My favorite Odinism right now: “That’s the E-end.”
