Meeting Cole Crawford makes me want to raise my future children the way he has been raised… via home school 🙂 We set up his photo shoot at his family’s ranch in Hesperus. Cole is the fifth generation to live on this property. I can’t tell you how much fun it was to shoot there! It is a photographers dream. He had been home only moments before I showed up after his long day of hauling hay and an unfortunate truck malfunction on the side of Highway 160. The last thing he probably wanted to do was to go back into the heat and have his photo taken, however, I would have never known if that was what he was thinking. He obliged every idea that his mom and I had and did so with a smile on his face. This young man is the epitome of kindness, respect and hard work. I hope you all can come see the final chosen image and Cole’s “A Mile In My Shoes” writing piece in the show at Studio & on August 7, 2014!
I love this!!!!
