Kokomo Coincidences

The first thing I did this morning is walk outside and take a deep breath of rain air. Oh rain! I love it. I missed it. I can smell it through the photo I took above on my drive to work this morning. Fear not, I was the only one on the road, so no one was endangered in the making of this image.

There is not a lot of time that I get to drive by myself in the car. This morning the first song on the radio when I started my drive was “Kokomo” by the Beach Boys. I know that most of you reading this would be STOKED if this song was the first song you heard on your morning drive, as was I. You see, the song was a coincidence.  Our family connected with Kokomo some much so that we named our childhood cat after it. This made me laugh when I thought about how much we used to love this song. It brings up joyful memories and connects me to my Mom. There she was letting herself be know in the mysterious ways of the universe. Today she came for a visit through the radio.

I am reading the book “You are a Badass” by Jen Sincero. (Thank you Steph for purchasing it for me.) I love this book! Jen quotes Albert Einstein in her book, “Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.”

Gratitude for solo drives in the rain and Kokomo coincidences.

XO

Kyla
